The UniBond “Club of the Month awards for January have gone to GUISELEY, LANCASTER CITY and BELPER TOWN.

Guiseley enjoyed a 100% record in the month with their two league victories supplemented with success away at Blyth Spartans in the FA Trophy whilst Boston United’s 100% record went when they lost 1-0 at Kendal Town today.

Lancaster took the First Division North prize for the second month in succession despite their 100% record vanishing in to thin air at Woodley Sports also today. The Giant Axe side had already done enough to land the spoils with five straight wins earlier in the month.

The First Division South accolade went the way of Belper Town despite their defeat today at Spalding United as they had won all three of their previous games in January including a victory on Tuesday evening at table-topping Chasetown.

Guiseley will be presented with their award of six bottles of Pol Roger Champagne and a commemorative certificate prior to the kick off of their Premier Division league fixture versus Whitby Town on the 9th February.

Lancaster City will receive their award prior to the kick off of their league fixture versus Clitheroe on the 2nd February.

Belper Town will receive their champagne and certificate prior to the kick off their league fixture versus Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday 6th February.
