Chasetown have announced Roger Lucas has joined the club as their new Commercial Director.

Chief executive Mick Joiner said: "Over the past few weeks both Charlie Blakemore and I have been holding meetings with a new commercial director to work alongside Steve Maden and to also fall in line with the club's five year business plan.

"We are please to announce that we have appointed Roger Lucas who has previous experience with Solihull Borough, Bilston Town, Halesowen Town and short spells with Stourbridge and Rushall.

"Steve was worked very well in the role, and he and Roger will form an excellent commercial team taking the club forward.

"Charlie has known Roger for several years & in his opinion this is a great appointment for both on & off the pitch in securing sponsorship deals for our club."
