New Chorley manager Garry Flitcroft has made his 15th signing of the summer after snapping up highly-rated winger Shelton Payne.
The former Blackburn Rovers starlet has joined the Magpies from Evo-Stik Division One North rivals Trafford.
The 21-year-old scored 15 goals in 27 appearances for Trafford last season and is widely regarded as one of the fastest players in the non-league game.
Delighted with his latest acquisition, Flitcroft said: Shelton is a very exciting talent and Im sure our fans are going to love watching him play.
Hes got blistering pace, bags of skill and a decent eye for goal, and Im confident I can get the best out of him.
He can play on either wing or up front and his arrival means we have now got competition for places all over the park.
Payne could make his Chorley debut in Friday nights friendly with Bolton Wanderers at The Chorley Group Victory Park Stadium (kick off 7.30pm).
Once again, the club are offering a special family ticket, which admits two adults and two children to the game for just £10.
